We're the Gonzalez family. For more than twenty years we've been serving a little taste of home, one taco at a time.

Our story began in 2000, when the Gonzalez family started working in taquerias, learning the business and the craft of Mexican street food. After years of hard work, we opened the first Las Trancas taco stand in Waco, Texas, in 2007.
The idea was simple then and it's simple now: stay true to our roots, use the freshest ingredients, cook from scratch, and serve the bold flavors that make Mexican food special.
